FeTNA Anbudai Nenjam - FAQ
FeTNA Anbudai Nenjam is a membership service offered by FeTNA thru a team of volunteers to help Tamil Families and Tamil Youth(referred as Registrant) living in the USA and Canada in the process of finding their best matching life partners.
Tamils that belong to one of the following 3 categories can register on the website to avail the service with finding their life partners.
FeTNA Tamil Sangam Members: The registrant and their parents currently live in the United States or Canada and either of them is a member of a FeTNA Tamil Sangam (Member Tamil Sangams List: https://fetna.org/member-tamil-sangams/)
NOT A FeTNA Tamil Sangam Member: The registrant and their parents currently live in the United States or Canada and either of them is a member of a Tamil Sangam which is NOT FeTNA Tamil Sangam (not found in the above FeTNA member Tamil Sangam list)
NOT A member of any Tamil Sangam in the USA or Canada: Registrants who meet ALL of the following:
The Registrant and their Parent OR the Registrant, currently live in the United States or Canada
They are not active members of any of the US or Canadian Tamil Sangams.
Have two close relatives living in the USA or Canada who are active members of a FeTNA Tamil Sangam (https://fetna.org/member-tamil-sangams/)
FeTNA Tamil Sangam Members: The registrant and their parents currently live in the United States or Canada and either of them is a member of a FeTNA Tamil Sangam (Member Tamil Sangams List: https://fetna.org/member-tamil-sangams/)
NOT A FeTNA Tamil Sangam Member: The registrant and their parents currently live in the United States or Canada and either of them is a member of a Tamil Sangam which is NOT FeTNA Tamil Sangam (not found in the above FeTNA member Tamil Sangam list)
NOT A member of any Tamil Sangam in the USA or Canada: Registrants who meet ALL of the following:
The Registrant and their Parent OR the Registrant, currently live in the United States or Canada
They are not active members of any of the US or Canadian Tamil Sangams.
Have two close relatives living in the USA or Canada who are active members of a FeTNA Tamil Sangam (https://fetna.org/member-tamil-sangams/)
If the registrant or their parents are current member(s) of a Tamil Sangam in the US or Canada which in turn is a member of the FeTNA organization (https://fetna.org/member-tamil-sangams/), then the registrant is considered as a ‘FeTNA registered Tamil Sangam member’.
The registrant or their parents are member(s) of a Tamil Sangam in the US or Canada which is NOT a member of the FeTNA organization (not found in the FeTNA member Tamil Sangam webpage)
The Registrant and their Parent OR the Registrant, currently live in the United States or Canada but neither of them is an active member of any of the Tamil Sangams in the US and Canada.
Silver membership - 6 months subscription to contact profiles.
Gold membership - 12 months subscription to contact profiles.
Gold membership - 12 months subscription to contact profiles.
FREE Registration - Provides ability to access the website and create your profile and view basic information of other profiles.
The Gold membership is available for paid members. This status provides unlimited profile views, searches etc for a year.
The membership fee collected for this service will be considered as a donation to FeTNA to cover the cost incurred to manage the websites, data processing, provide web security and also be used for the development of Tamil language, literature and culture.
The membership payment is non-refundable, non-transferable and Tax deductible.

FeTNA Tamil Sangam Member: The registrant will select a FeTNA member Tamil Sangam name during the registration process. This will automatically send a validation request to the respective Tamil Sangam email on the file with only the required minimum information to confirm the membership.
NOT a Member of a FeTNA Tamil Sangam: The registrant will provide two reference names who are current members of FeTNA Tamil Sangam and select those Tamil Sangam names during the registration process. This will automatically send a validation request to the respective Tamil Sangam emails on the file with only the required minimum information to confirm the membership of the two references provided.
The two references provided during registration will also receive an approval request in their emails provided during registration, just to confirm that they ‘know’ this registrant.
Registrant Lives in the US or Canada but “Not a member of Any Tamil Sangam in the USA or Canada”: The registrant will provide two reference names who are current members of FeTNA Tamil Sangam and select those Tamil Sangam names during the registration process. This will automatically send a validation request to the respective Tamil Sangam emails on the file with only the required minimum information to confirm the membership of the two references provided.
The two references provided during registration will also receive an approval request in their emails provided during registration, just to confirm that they ‘know’ this registrant.

Registrant Lives in the US or Canada but “Not a member of Any Tamil Sangam in the USA or Canada”: The registrant will provide two reference names who are current members of FeTNA Tamil Sangam and select those Tamil Sangam names during the registration process. This will automatically send a validation request to the respective Tamil Sangam emails on the file with only the required minimum information to confirm the membership of the two references provided.
The two references provided during registration will also receive an approval request in their emails provided during registration, just to confirm that they ‘know’ this registrant.
They should join the local FeTNA registered Tamil Sangam as a member to avail the discount.
You will pay $125.00 / Half Yearly and $250 / Year. Alternately, You may also request the Tamil Sangam to become a member of FeTNA so it helps yearly renewals (if needed) and also any future registrants from the same Tamil Sangam. Please note that the FeTNA membership process might take few months or more based on various factors.
Until the Tamil Sangam(s) and References provide approvals, the registration will be in a status of ‘Pending Approval’ which will show up under the ‘Reference’ tab on the profile page. After all the validations are complete, the status changes to ‘Approved’
NO. If the Caste or related information is found in any fields of the forms, the registration will be rejected/deactivated. It can be resubmitted/reactivated only after removing any such information.

Registrants should first reach out to the local Tamil Sangam committee and their references to get the approval completed. In cases where the approval takes longer than the time limits outlined above, registrants could send an email to the FeTNA Anbudai Nenjam support at anbudainenjam@fetna.org for further assistance. Since this support is provided by volunteers, please allow reasonable time (typically around 4-5 business days) for a response from the support team.
